In 2007, an 8.0 magnitude earthquake devastated the central coast of Peru. The Peruvian American Medical Society has since built and managed a medical clinic to serve the communities affected by the quake. My photographs are used for all fundraising and marketing collateral.
Cajamarca is high in the Peruvian Andes, and like many regions in Peru, suffers from extreme poverty and a stunning lack of basic medical services. I photographed the local hospital and followed the mobile caravans that went out daily to support the surrounding communities.
